Ail Wynt is the proposed new development which builds on the success of the existing award winning scheme, Cwmni Gwynt Teg. Both projects are unique because they have been conceived, developed and owned by a co-operative of three local farming families. Initiated in response to falling income from hill sheep farming, Cwmni Gwynt Teg won the prestigious Ashden Awards for Sustainable Energy in June 2003. A major factor in its success was the sensitivity that the co-operative has shown towards community and environmental issues.
